“Santi Clo” is a Dominican movie from director Pinky Pintor who directed other films like the popular “Sanky Panky”.
This movie is the story of Nicolás (Aquiles Correa), a young man from a dominican neighborhood called Los Platanitos, who just lost his job in the Christmas dates, further compounding the misery in which his family lives.
His wife Natalia (Jane Santos) leaves the house, carrying his daughter Emely (María José Pintor).
Everything goes wrong until Antonio (Manolo Ozuna), his lifelong friend, help him to work on “Santi Clo“, thereby will start the whole adventure that changes the way he sees his life..
One good aspect of this movie is its message of solidarity and kindness related with the Holiday season.
The public will be caught by the emotional intensity of some scenes.
The script was thought with cleverness, this is one of the most common problems in Dominican movies.
In this new movie by Premium Latin Films, repeat the production team from the more Grossing Dominican film of all time: “Sanky Panky“, led by Pinky Pintor, director; Milbert Perez, in overall production; Elias Acosta in the direction of photography, Angel Dotel, art direction; Pachy Carrasco, music; Carlos Reyes in casting and Carolina Castro in Costumes, among others.
