Mike Enslin (John Cusack) is a horror book writer, of mysterious sites, is not very famous, but it looks for without rest a place where they appear ghost. The life that takes is a distraction to forget the death its daughter, Katie (Jasmine Jessica Anthony). One of those days, while it reviewed his mail, encontro a postcard of the hotel Dolphin, that said DO NOT ENTER To 1408.
