The Wall is a movie directed by director Alan Parker, this movie is based in the british rock Pink Floyd’s album called the same.
The Wall is perhaps one of the most intriguing and imaginative albums in the history of rock music was recorded in 1979 and brought to the screen in 1982.
The Wall tells the story of a man named Pink Floyd, who as a child, he lost his father in World War II. Raised by her overprotective mother, Pink has a rough life that leads with the dark world of drugs as a result of these and their bitter memories Pink falls into a spiral that leads him to madness.
This monumental album is partially based on the lives of two members of the rock band, Pink Floyd.
Pink’s childhood is very similar to the Roger Waters’ childhood, the main writer of “The Wall“.
Waters, who lost his father in World War II led many of his feelings of abandonment and solitude in this album.
The Pink adult life is partly based on the life of the original singer and leader of the band: Syd Barrett, who suffered a mental breakdown because of his mind altered by drugs. By combining these stories Roger Waters created a disturbing and mystical adventure into the depths of the human psyche.
