Minority Report is a science fiction film which deals with the problems that could arise if the police could know what was going to commit crimes before they happen. It is based on a short story by Philip K. Dick, the minority report (The Minority Report (1956)), and directed by Steven Spielberg in 2002.
In the year 2054 crime has been eradicated in Washington, DC The future may be predetermined circumstances and the guilty are convicted before they commit their crime. Within the elite unit of Pre-Crime, part of the Department of Justice, all the evidence to convict al-guided (from images alluding to time, place and other details) are seen by “Pre – Cogs, “three psychic beings whose visions of murders have never been revealed failures. It is the most advanced anti-crime, a perfect system. And nobody worked harder to ja Pre-Crime as its main stronghold, the Chief John Anderton (Tom Cruise). Shattered by a tragic loss, Anderton has put all his passion into a system that potentially could prevent thousands minds of people for the tragedy that it happened. Six years later, the next vote to give the national character has only served to reinforce his conviction that Pre-Crime works. Anderton has no reason to doubt it … until it becomes the number one suspect.
