Vicky Cristina Barcelona

Vicky (Rebecca Hall) and Cristina (Scarlett Johansson) are best friends, think same in almost everything, even their personalities and characters are different. Vicky loves secure things, doesn’t like risks, and is engaged to married in autumn. While Cristina is a liberal woman, she doesn’t knows what really expect about the life, never has a serious relationship.

The friends, in the summer before Vicky’s wedding, decided to go Barcelona. Stay in a Vicky’s relatives (Kevin Dunn & Patricia Clarkson).

Someday a handsome guy approach to them, said his name, Juan Antonio (Javier Bardem) and quickly invited to a town, in airplane. Vicky doesn’t want goes with a complete stranger to unknown town, while Cristina loves going to.

So, convinced by Cristina, Vicky accepted. There, Cristina was enjoy everything, but Vicky not, Cristina was fallin in love. Cristina got sick, and need to rest, now Vicky had to go with Juan Antonio, who results more interesting than she though, now, Vicky fallin in love too, the same man that her friend.

Vicky, being realist, put far from her mind Juan Antonio, she just want to forget him.

When could wake up, Cristina to go to live with Juan Antonio, and here met Maria Helena(Penelope Cruz), his ex-wife, who goes lives with them too, for begginin a rare kind of relationship.
