Alex Bernier(Heath Ledger) is a priest of an strange ORDER, really he is the strange: he preside the mass like at old times, with rituals actually are not using, he was polite with other manner at the same church.
He is inlove of Mara Sinclair (Shannyn Sossamon), who loves him too, but their love can’t be… None of them dare to say their feelings one each other, so their love is pretty secret.
