In his birthday, Walter Sparrow(Jim Carrey) received a gift from his wife, Agatha Sparrow(Virginia Madsen), a book calls THE NUMBER 23. This night he began to read it and looks some familiar, he does not what, just felt.

So while more reading, more feel that it’s his history, but he can’t remember exactly what really happen, so began to investigate with his son, Robin Sparrow(Logan Lerman), who is the only one believe in him, his wife think he is crazy.

As long as time pass, more discover who thruly was him. The truth will find him.
